City Hall Observation Tower - City Hall is a 1930's art deco masterpiece loaded intricate details that tell the story of the city. There are daily tours of the building by knowledgeable people who will give you a good understanding of City Hall, the most popular architectural destination in the city. At the top of the building, at the 28 th floor there is an observation deck that will give you a 360 ° view of the city and its waterfront. Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin Martin House - Frank Lloyd Wright's five-structure Darwin D. Martin House Complex is one of his most notable Prairie House designs and is now under restoration. Olmsted Park and Parkway System - Frederick Law Olmsted, the same landscape architect that designed New York City's Central Park also designed six buffalo parks and the beautiful parkways that connect them. An afternoon visit to any of these parks will be well worth the trip. Tifft Nature Preserve - Within the city limits you will even find a nature preserve which has enough acreage that you may need to come back 2-3 times before you see it all. The area was once home to some of Buffalo's many canals and shipping ports, but has now been reclaimed by nature and is maintained by the Buffalo Museum of Science for public use. Erie Basin Marina - Take a walk along the shore of lake Erie, enjoy the view of the water, the boats and Buffalo's oldest lighthouse. Naval and Military Park and Museum - Includes two ships, a submarine, and a museum "Located near Lake Erie and the mouth of the Buffalo River it is a beautiful scenic area especially in the summer. The Riverwalk travels north from here to other parks too. There are several ships, exhibits, equipment and exhibits to view."
